Dianne Sambo a Jaru/ Walmajarri artist from Bililuna. Her country is Sturt Creek.

She was raised with her Grandparents who taught her all the traditional ways of bush life - bush tucker collection, bush medicine, ceremony and lore.

She remembers life as a child there "we would have to walk long way to survive in the wet season, go somewhere safe and where we had access to food and good water. We are one of the traditional owners of that place, I was taught by my Grandparents and I pass all that traditional knowledge onto my grandchildren - same good way".
