Jefferson Sturt
Jefferson grew up at the Ringer Soak Community, but is now with family in Halls Creek where he has been a resident for most of his adult life.
Jefferson is a great example of empowerment for people living with disability.
Despite living with significant disability he is a dedicated member of the Yarliyil Studio. Patiently and quietly working away on his colourful works about his Country, Jefferson does not let his disabilities get in the way of his art.
Jefferson creates vibrant works that depict his Country, the seasons and the flora and fauna of this place in the East Kimberley's.
