I am a Walmajarri woman from Billiluna. I have lived there my whole life as both of my parents are from there and it is country for us.

I make colourful paintings that show my country, all the colours that come and go with the seasons.

Painting is a good way keep knowledge and stories alive for our kids and families, and also to share culture with others.

Our paintings get sold to people who take them all over Australia, and even to other countries - our culture travels with them.

I also have other family who are painters at Yarliyil Arts and it's good, we come together and all work on keeping culture strong and using our art skills to help support our families. 

Most of my artworks show my grandparents country in Billiluna, ceremony stories and bush foods."
