Nynmi is on the Canning Stock Route in the Great Sandy Desert.

The country is centered around many Minyilpa Warniri ( rockholes).

The old people would walk between many of these water hole locations collecting seeds and hunting for bushtucker. 

Today, we still teach our kids these things, so they never forget where they come from.
