Yarliyil Arts is taking a short break - we will be back on Monday 9th November. PLEASE NOTE: you can still purchase online, but work will not be dispatched until the 2nd week of November.
Wildflowers including Wattle, Mulla Mulla, bush medicine flowers and many others appear in different bright colours in the grasslands along the Tanami during the wet season.
In dreamtime stories, Mulla Mulla provides spiritual protection and is associated with fire dreaming and cleansing.
Mulla Mulla was used for making pillows and in ceremonies. The soft branches of the plant were also used to line wooden dishes for carrying children.
