This painting is the bush potatoes. When I was young we would go hunting for bushtucker. We had to dig underground (not too far) to find the bush potatoes, so we learnt how to find all the good food.
We still get these foods - tap the ground with a stick and we can hear the sound like a drum where the potatoes are hiding.
